How long have you had the BCE?
2 years. Cancelled the old BCP 1 year ago.
congrats
Congratulations!
I'll have to check what they're offering me. The $75 + af was a no go for me. I'd probably go for $150 + no af.

I'm a little baffled why my thread was moved FROM Approvals to here, especially after being quiescent for a week 🤷♀️ But ok.
Guess someone thought it was relevant information to the general credit card public.

I didn't do the move but I can answer the question... PC (product change) threads are always in 'Credit Cards' since there's no new credit approved, it's simply a change of rewards.
The 'Credit Card Approvals' forum is for new credit lines and credit line increases.
'Back in the day' the move would have (likely) taken place quickly, but there's new management so things happen at a different pace. In any case, it's where it should be.
Congratulations on the very impressive upgrade!!
Just curious: is there a reason why you chose the AF-based Amex BCP, over say the no-AF AAA Daily Advantage VS card? I know it's a difference of 6% cashback on groceries with the BCP vs. 5% cashback on groceries with the AAA Daily Advantage, but the lack of the AF on the AAA card was what drove me to app for it, vs. apping for the Amex BCP with the AF, etc.

1) When I first grabbed a BCP, P2 was Active duty military, for which AmEx waives AF, so that was a non-factor. 6% > 5%.
2) AmEx > Comenity
3) I don't think the AAA card was a thing yet when I initially grabbed a BCP. Now it's just a question of playing the upgrade/downgrade game. In between I've used P2's CCC for 5% groceries.
