Sure, if I'm ever beyond desperate.

Got an email from CreditOne today. Smiley Happy

Edit: Removed picture. The blur tool didn't get my name masked properly. It was a "we want you back" email.

Re: Sure, if I'm ever beyond desperate.

I thought my credit was bad enough I had to start rebuilding with Credit One.  Applied and was approved for $400.  But then for some reason I decided to just try for something better and got a Chase Amazon Visa 3k.  I quickly called Credit One and cancelled.  So happy I didn't have to deal with them while rebuilding.

Re: Sure, if I'm ever beyond desperate.

Congrats !! I have the Credit One card with $400.00 CL. I opened it as my first unsecured CC. Wished I hadn't. Their fees and no 30 day interest free purchasing are a joke. The only good thing about them is they do report to all 3 CA's and their website is easy to navigate. It's incredible how they charge almost $10.00 to make an "expedited payment" and if you use their free payment system using your checking account it takes about a week until the money is available. Worse yet, they only allow like 3 free online payments a month. The only thing I use this card for is my Netflix $7.99 monthly payment. As soon as it hits, I instantly pay it off.
I truly feel sorry for anyone who must rely on using this card as their only source. It's basically legal loan sharking.

Wow. Sounds like they know exactly what they're doing, minimizing their exposure (with extremely low credit limits) and charging fee's and interest at ridiculous rates. I mean having to pay them to actually make a payment ?? Just crazy.

If you were trying to conceal your name, you did a bad job. I can still see it Smiley LOL

Credit one is at the top of my list to pay off and close. I can't believe that I fell for a card with the credit limit of 300.00 and an annual fee of 99 dollars
