Target Card's web interface will be unavailable for an extended period of time.

I just noticed on the login portal for TD's Target card, that the site will be down for improvements from March 11 to March 18.

This is noteworthy because of the length of the planned outage.  I can say with certainty, as I work directly in this field, that is a LONG time for a customer interface and maintenance site to be off line.  I'd say in fact it is absolutely crazy.

Two noteworthy FAQ:
Q: Will there be any new features?
A: The features will mostly be the same, but with a new redesigned look and feel.

Q: Why will the website be down for so long?
A: We apologize for the extended outage. All Target Circle Card systems are undergoing maintenance.

It does appear that TD Bank is brand

new to rolling out new software   @BallBounces !

Guessing that they will be mucking up the live environment instead of running a beta in a test environment???

Like I had noted, there better be a new App as well after this.

Darnit I even looked in there (too quick I guess) to make sure I wasn't cluttering things up!

Having also worked in this sort of thing, I agree!  My only guess is either it really is low volume (low revenue) or just plain incompetence.    For us, taking one of n servers down for a release at 2am was a big deal, and it had to up quickly!  I don't think upper management would have signed off on a week!
