Target VISA in no longer available it might come back, and no you can not upgrade.
Im not sure if its a HP or SP with targets CLI. Someone else might know.
I've had one of these stuck at a $500 limit for years. They never do auto CLI in my opinion. I'd close it if there were any fees attached to it. Also hubby has the Target Visa. He opened it with a $2900 limit and I made a huge $1000 payment once with our tax return and they decreased his limit so we were just a little under the new limit. It was very frustrating. I'm currently in the process of getting them paid off. $700 more to go.

Target might be whats called "Chasing the balance" Where you keep paying and they will lower and lower your limit and then potentially close it automatically.
Now im wondering if auto CLI's are HP or SP still, and they seriously no longer do their Visa? Oh well, i have enough other cards for that...also no fees attached to my account.
I dont think i have ever read one good think about the target red credit card...Why wouldnt you just get the target red debit card it still saves 5% and you dont have to deal with most of these toy limits people have with this card

What kind of bad things ar there with the Red Card? I have never had a problem yet, as for the debit card, i didnt understand Credit last year and life was rough so i did what i did to get by. So Credit would have been the only option at the time.

I completely understand if life was rough and credit was the only option it just seems like every thread about the red card on this board is like, "I have had the card for 4 years still have a 200 dollar limit or something like that"
I hate to be a downer but unless TD drastically changes lending policies this card is known for staying at the initial $200-500 limit forever. They do not accept customer-initiated CLIs and very rarely give automatic CLIs. I have one and I like the 5% discount but I really have no expectation of it growing past its current limit.
The Visa hasn't been open to new applications since 2009-2010ish.
