Use a credit score simulator. You can see what your credit score would be with the card listed as closed on your credit report. The Target card doesn’t charge a fee, though, so I wouldn’t be in a hurry to get rid of it!

Just keep it open since there’s no fee. You could still open a different account, too, if you’d get more out of something else.
