So I just logged into my Target RedCard account and it immediately asked me to verify if my income was accurate. I said it was, and then the screen just loaded for a good 30 seconds before taking me to my account. Anyone know why it randomly asked me to verify my income? My Credit Limit didn't change or anything...has this happened to anyone else?
Just throwing this out there...
Maybe they are considering you for a MC upgrade.

True. I had a Target Visa long ago. Now I'm just down to a Target Debit card.

If I remember correctly, they are required to ask once a year. I enter my income information every time but I had the pop-up this month to enter my income again.
@Mike1014805 this happens more than I can count. Amex, Sync, Comenity, Chase, they all ask it of me at random times. It's crazy. No rhyme or reason that I've seen.

Same here I must have answered that request a few dozen times and after 3 years and scores in the 700's and zero Baddies I'm still at their measley $300 CL.
i got that screen before i too thought it was for a cli maybe but i still havent gotten one single cli on my account - really hate it
It's just because they're required to legally ask for updated income every year. Nothing more, sorry. Why it sometimes asks repeatedly, I don't know.

Yeah I get those popups all the time with different credit accounts. Some also state to be considered for a CLI you should update your income.
