Re: Target Redcard upgrade to Mastercard

I'm really hoping that particular CSR wasn't completely accurate, because I eventually want the REDCard MC and 0.5% isn't exactly instilling confidence.

Can I expect to get an upgrade to Target MasterCard soon?

I was approved for a Target credit card with a $1000 limit four months ago.  Last month I got a CLI to $1600 without asking for one.  NOw I notic that many people have Target MasterCards but I also find that you can't apply for that- that Target has to upgrade you own their own.  Should I expect to be upgraded in a couple more months or does it take a long time?

The auto-CLIs are part of the AR process, but that in it of itself is no indication that the card will be upgraded.  In fact, no one has such privvy information to confirm whether or not your account would qualify.  Potentially, as you periodically use your account, update your income frequently, etc., then those actions could place you on that upgrade radar, but most definitely not in the next couple months.   These upgrades appear to take some time, no rhyme or reason.

Re: Target store card upgraded to Target Mastercard

Actually, the Target Mastercard has no FTF.

Congratulations on your upgrade !!

I have had the Redcard 10 years, and have a $2800 limit.

Yet, I have not been upgraded.

I use the card monthly, either online or in physical store.

I guess that I don't fit their profile.Smiley Sad
