I got approved for a $4000 Target Visa in one of the stores about 2 weeks ago when I was purchasing a PS3 slim 250gb (on clearance for $244.98, they are normally $349.99, got another 10% off making total after tax for $241.98). Anyway, I still haven't received this card in the mail. How long does it typically take to receive the card? I'm a little worried that it hasn't arrived.
Thanks!

I apologize ahead of time for highjacking this thread and expect to be privately admonished by the mods but I want to ask ladydi something very gently and with all due respect.
Could you please write your posts in a manner that doesn't look like text messaging? Perhaps you could attempt complete sentences and proper punctuation?
I can only speak for myself but I can't finish anything you write because the sentences are so fragmented. People do not talk the way you write.
Please realize that this site is to be supportive. The statement you made was rude. I read the previous posts from ladydi and had no problem with anything she said in her previous messages.
Well, one thing that online posters will find with time is that the clearer their original posts are for ALL readers, the more numerous and useful the replies are. ![]()
There are differing formats for texting, for forums, etc etc, and what works on one might not work on another. (THE ABSOLUTELY WORST IS A POST IN ALL CAPS; yikes!)
It doesn't mean that someone is an awful person for using one format; it just means that sometimes their posts might be too tough for others to read. And it's often a generational thing. My kids in their 20's can make sense of anything, while at age 55, I'm frequently baffled and might bail out early. When we're around folks that are only from our generation and background, we can use our own jargon and be understood. When we're around someone else, they might be stumped.
So it doesn't mean that someone is being critical when they give a feedback. It could just mean that we're having a little trouble deciphering. Anyone here is absolutely free to post however they like, including ALL CAPS and Comic Sans Serif in 14 point font. But they might not get as much useful info back as hoped. ![]()
Not trying to continue an argument; just pointing out that when any of us are engaging in a multi-cultural, multi-generational gathering, it often works best when we default to sort of a neutral behavior.

I believe that asking someone to communicate in a way that is more effective and easier to understand is being supportive because their message will reach a larger audience. I said it with all due respect.
I appreciate your opinion.
This is my one and only comment on this. Time to move on to other things.
