@TSlop wrote:I like my PSECU Alumni Rewards card. It is 2% (1.5% if you don't have $500 in direct deposits). No issues using it and its contactless. I obtained the card last year, and I've been told by friends and coworkers that PSECU gives back to members most years. I believe in the beginning of 2019 they gave back 50% of your earned cashback, making it a 3% card. I was a member then but didn't have the credit card. For 2020 they didn't give anything back and apparently re-invested it into the company. I'm tempted to begin putting my travel/dining on it since I don't have preferred rewards yet with my BoA PR and I probably won't redeem my URs in the portal. But that possibility has kept me putting my 2% travel/dining on the CSP.
The PSECU card almost sounds like a Disco haha. If they can do that for most years I mean thats a pretty good card.

Blispay...
yap! it was so good that imploded to black hole! 😵
I'm still waiting for it to come out from the other side 💩
It was so good its rare to see any one talk about it! I don't even know anything about the card or the company! I thought you were just saying a word!
For me, the only 2% card I have is PenFed Power Cash Rewards and I like it...
I'm a fan of the SDFCU card, but they are really conservative. If you didn't get AOD then SDFCU would probably be the same Also agree with gmood1 in that their customer service is kind of middle of the road.
Amex Blue Business Plus should get a mention if you like MR, can usually get a better return than 2% out of 2 MR without too much trouble.

My favorite off-category card, but for a good cash back value you need Schwab Platinum...and even I wouldn't try to bring that $550 AF to a 2% card fight!
PayPal. If you can deal with the lack of transaction notifications for purchases not made through PayPal, it's a pretty decent 2% card and Synchrony occasionally sends offers to earn 3 or 4% up to a certain amount or spend offers.
I wouldn't really try SDFCU or PenFed if you got shot down for DTI by AOD. Both of them are known to be sensitive to it to it; every CU is to some extent. Banks tend to be more willing to take on more aggressive risk.
Citi has been conservative in my experience so far. DC seems like an ok card and I like that Citi offers virtual credit card numbers (one of my favorite features of Capital One cards) and the flexibility with TYPs or cash back was really attractive to me since I have the Rewards+ already but until AOD nerfs the 3% in a way that makes it not worth it for me, I'm not going to waste an app on DC. If something does go south with the AOD card though, DC is on my radar.
Non conservative choice PPMC
Navy Flagship
2% on everything except 3% on travel.
