YOu were finally allowed back in the computer room?
Well that completely blows. I get out of a meeting, catch up on all the pages I missed to see a DECLINE?
Gnrnrnrnrnr.
Hope you recon, LS... let us know! (like you weren't going to do that anyway...

I'm both honored and embarrassed that I followed probably the longest, funniest, most bittersweet thread I've seen on ANY site in my life! My condolences go out to LS. Thank you for allowing us into your world. Words can't express the sorrow I feel for you.
Still frustrated and embarrassed.
Tried a recon, they don't do recon's unless one the reasons they include in the denial is inaccurate.
Look, you are not the only one. My husband has a Macy's card (his oldest account, from like 1986) and of course all he hears about is the Macy's AMEX. Macy's seems to love him so of course he finally decided to ask them to upgrade him to their AMEX. He didn't even think it was a "real" AMEX. Why would they not approve him, anyway? With perfect credit history since his BK in 2004, and scores that are 700-ish.
Shockingly, Macy's told him that he was not approved, and they told him that AMEX found his score to be too low. Wow... harsh. I don't have many warm, fuzzy feelings for AMEX. I never have, but now I really don't.
