Re: The Duck Card

I wouldn't count on getting that decision soon.  They're obviously having an all hands on deck situation right now.

Re: The Duck Card

The decision I can wait on. I just don't want another declined application. Even if it is a small amount I would be very happy to receive an unsecured line of credit to prove myself with.

Well guys, I was declined. I figured. Looks like even the generous ones wont give me a chance. I just wonder how long I'll have to sit on a secured card before someone takes a chance on me. Smiley Sad

Instead of hijacking this thread, would you be willing to post your whole credit profile, perhaps in the rebuilding your credit sub forum? Perhaps we can find  a way to help you get more than just the one secured card?

Re: The Duck Card

Xxid,

I was denied too due to excess credit obligations and surprisingly not chargeoff. Must have been my deferred student loans that sealed my fate cuz I'm using about 2% off available siggy credit. I think with all the generous limits given out, they have tightened the purse strings. Please post any reasons in the duck denial thread.

These people on here know a lot about all kinds of things.  You shouldn't feel because of a denial that you have to bury your head in the sand.  I for one am very thankful for the advice that I have and continue to receive.  My only regret is that I didn't come across these Boards sooner than Sept 2013.

It was just due to a lack of history, not rebuilding though. I can't for the life of me figure out what is wrong with my credit profile. I have pulled all three, nothing is on them that should hurt me.
