This makes 8 approvals in a row dating back to Sept 2012. It wasn't an instant approval and I had to recon but got 5k ICL Barclays Arrival World MC (AF version with 20k bonus). The reason I had to recon and the lower limit was my 8 new accounts in last year. Because of this I was instantly denied.
What's curious is I have 11 accounts in last year. It seems that back dated Amex accounts don't count in their system. The questions they asked were about my cap1 auto, high balance on Sallie Mae loan and NFCU balance.
Was told after history they would bump me up to be more in line with other limits. Back to garden I go.

I had done some banking today and while at drive thru Whitney bank asked me to apply for their card. I had to go to chase and my personal banker checked and I didn't have any offers in their system. Figured this card would be nice while I wait for CSP to send me a targeted offer.

Nope. Barclays is fickle beast and I have what I need. Still on radar is CSP and another Amex but those can wait. Ill be looking to trim some secured cards very soon

Looks as though the Caladryl isn't at all effective.
