For me:
1. US Bank Platinum- barely gets used; only holding onto it in the hopes of getting the CL up to $5000, then PCing it for a second Cash +.
2. AMEX BCE- not a bad card, but Sallie Mae and Cash Plus have made it obsolete in my wallet. I have a yonuger brother in college and I recently made him an AU on it. So he's taking care of the UTL for me, and I pay the bill.
3. Cap One QSOne- Can't seem to find reasons to use it, so it's basically SD'ed.
@black_citi wrote:Citi Diamond Preferred. Completely useless to me. Even though it has a 1000 limit (starting limit), there are no real points I can get except those measly citi easy deal points. I have over 1000 of those points but most of the stuff they offer is useless and you still need to spend real money. If I do use those points its usually to get some food or something. I probably will close the card out once I get a CLI on my BofA card (which I use all the time) or I might just let it close itself out. I've had it since Jan 2014.
I used to have a diamond preferred, but PCed it to a Thank You Preferred. Maybe that's an idea? At least then you can use the points without paying for anything.
My most useless card is my CapOne QS. I never get approved for CLIs because I only put small purchases onit, and its my oldest account. The only thing it has that the other cards dont, is no FTF. Even so, it doesnt have an EMV chip. Lame.
* JCrew (shopping cart trick)
* Capital One Platinum (trying to PC To QS)
* Capital One Platinum (Formerly HSBC, might try to PC this one too).

Mine is anything CapOne... have a hate relationship with them at this time so they are SD.
Curious about the WalMart Discover being mentioned as worthless? I get 15 cents discount on gas right now and their pumps are the cheapest in the area. I know when Citi Freedom summer offer kicks in it will be about the same relative discount. I still use my WalMart.
Ive never seen a walmart gas station only sams club. I wish Target had a gas station so I could get 5% off my gas with my target red debit card lol
Smart connect, Nordstrom, and probably Macys at this point since they won't grow and have limited use. Fingerhut is also on that list even though I did get a really great deal one ONE thing once lol. I think they may all head to the chopping block soon, except the Macys card. I'll keep that one and keep attempting to grow it. They did give me once decent increase, and when you have the coupons and sales, it isn't completely worthless.
My Citi AA Amex card probably, since I already have the Visa Signature version. All the other 10+ cards I have are useful in some way; I do not have any store card.
The Home Depot and Wells Fargo Platinum. I don't shop at HD and opened it for my parents' convenience. Once it's paid I will close it. The latter has poor reward system. But it was my first card so I am keeping it around for awhile.
I can see the Citi Diamond Preferred being a useless card too. When I got an offer in the mail, I was excited thinking it was exclusive because of the black color, but was disappointed.

I only use WF platinum for the free cell phone insurance when you use it to pay cell bill, other than that i agree pretty useless.

Both Nordies and Macy's are growers.
e.g.
Nordstrom
2k store >> 15k Visa Sig
Macy's
400 store >>12.5k Amex
I have quite a few CC cards and the only cards I am using now are cards with points. I had 3 cards closed by the co because they were not being used so in my case they were useless cards-Walmart Discover, Spiegel and Bloomingdale. I do have a Cap1 with a credit line of $1900 I may close that on my own. I rarely use it because the credit limit is so low.
