No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
Ditch that bottom feeder now that you've got some heroes. Goodbye First Premier.
Drop it, no sense in paying fees for nothing.
As Snoop Dogg so eloquently put it: "drop it like it's hot".
Close it!!!!!! it's costing you $84 a year and I'm willing to be you are not even using it with the variety of cards you have now..heck you probably don't even carry it in your wallet. It's done it's job and it will be there for up to 10 years as good credit and history. Right now you are throwing $84 bucks a year away

Personally, I'd close it. It will still report positive for 10 years, and when it drops your other cards will have aged with it.
ok so im confused now.
if i close an account in good standing (0 balance)
it will still report and age? just like other open used accounts?
yes, accounts closed in good standing will continue to report for up to 10yrs. I think there is a sticky on this subject.
+1 (preach and thank you!)
Thanks for the confirmation, I haven't used this card in about a year.
Be prepared to be offered no monthly fee for a year. I called last month to cancel and I just couldn't resist the offer. Now I'm gonna have to deal with them next year when I shoud have cut them out of my life. Stay strong, say "NO" and close it.

I agree with KG, today I got an unsolisited pre approved offer from First Premier for a Platinum Mastercard with a $700 CL, $175 AF & $525 initial credit line.... That junk is going in da shredder for sure, I'm not falling for that scam! CLOSE those Scam Artists!!!
