Re: TransUnion

Discover pulled Experian for me.

With many ccc, what they pull depends on where you live. With some, it's completely random.

Re: TransUnion

St. Louis, Missouri is where I live; what does geographical location

have to do with it? Are you serious? I don't know.

I would like to know that too. But it's true!  It does depends on what part of the U.S. one resides as to which report the creditor may pull

Very serious. It goes back to the days when the CRB's business had a regional emphasis.

Same pattern for me in FL, Discover seems to soft TU mainly wherever you live.

Re: TransUnion

Barclays/Juniper might be the only creditor you can be nearly certain will pull TU regardless of where you live. You do notice the Truecredit hook on some of their cards don't you?

+1. And I agree with your observation as well, including the prominent ads for the Visa Black Card. Smiley Tongue

Re: TransUnion

Dont know your profile. But generally, and to summarize again..

UMB

Barclays

Hooters

State Farm

Nationwide

GEMB - JCPenny

Target

The above are TU pullers for sure.Below could vary with location.

Barclays also softs EX for some folks. Especially during CLIs and such.

Discover pulls TU and EQ usually and sometimes EX. As mentioned, depends on where you live. Usually, its TU up north and EQ down south. But off late, its hard to tell.

Wachovia also pulls TU sometimes. Or both EQ and TU.

Walmart - same as above (wachovia)

Oh...and First Premier are strong TU pullers as well if you want to give them a shot.
