Mmmmhmmm....you should contact your CCCs and see if you can get lower too. AMEX is good about beating lowest published rate.

My Delta was sent to me at 15.24% but I was able to get it lowered to 12.24%

I sent a SM and got my initial app APR of 17.99% down to 14.24%. Thanks for the tip.

Citi is amazing to lower CC APR i got my GOLD aa card in a 3month span lowered from 21.99 to 13.24 it DOESNT HURT TO ASK!! and I got my AA platnium to lower from 19.99 to 17.99 before i even had the card and 15.99 when i called to activate it (the card isnt even a month old). IF YOU CALL CITI JUST ASK WHILE YOUR ON THE PHONE CHANCES are there is a lower avalible. all my apr lowers were from calling on other issues but asking for that while ive been on the phone.

Contacted Citi again this morning via online chat and got my APR reduced again.

Down to 15.99% now.

19.99%-->17.99%-->15.99%

I'll try again tomorrow

Just ask. Today when I called about a seperate issue I spoke to a manager (because the issue required one) and I asked for APR reduction while I was on the phone. She lowered the AA gold from 13.24 to 11.24. and when she looked at my plat she said hmmph let me see (assuming the system didnt prompt it, but she seemed like she wanted to lower it seeing as my gold card was much lower) if I can lower that some more and she came back with 12.99 from 15.99. Now I have had the Plat card for a week and have already gone from 21.99 to 12.99. IF you have a Citi card call and ask to speak to a Account manager about lowering your APR. I can almost guarentee they will do it.
