@Anonymous wrote:Inspired by this thread, I contacted Capital One about lowering my 22.99% APR (>750 TU for those who are wondering). He told me he can't and he didn't have a reason. Doesn't matter, PIF. But Capital One sure doesn't give me any reason to pull them out of the SD.
They budged for me QS from 16,9% to 12,9%...wonder how low you can get on a QS but assume that is about it..
I am lower than that, but a pc..
My Citi Forward is eligible for APR reduction 0.25% quarterly, up to a maximum reduction of 2%, and I'm at 11.99% right now.
This is unreal! Another reduction! Down to 13.24 now.
19.99 - 17.99 - 15.99 - 14.24 - 13.24%
I'll try again tomorrow!

Simply amazing.
AMEX won't back down off 14.24% on my BSP.

Very Nice!!
Inspired by you I tried via online chat for my DW AA card that she has had all of a week. It was a horrid 22.99%. The first chat was 3 days ago and they were able to go to 21.99 then he said he would "try again" and got it to 19.99.
Just tried today (4/2) and the rep said -
After reading your success with the APR reduction I tried today with a little chat just to see if I can get below the 13,24% on Double Cash. But the result was not what I wanted. APR reduction not available at this time but all the sudden my CL got increased by 2,2K and is now 19,2K... I hate so uneven figures. ... at least it was a SP only.
Ask them to lower it to an even 19k

Thanks, everyone! This has been a fun past few days. Who knew?
And congrats to all who have been able to reduce as well.
Mmmmkay?!?! YAY!

19K is still too uneven.... I like 5K, 10K, 15K, 20K, 25K .... maybe one day I get something like 20,1K and then I will for sure make it even if the lender can do it. ..BofA was not capable ..
