Ugh! Need computer, which card to use? Or new one?

My 15 yro Dell desktop bit the dust. I want a Mac bad, and I know that Barclays has the Apple financing visa, which would be awesome for me, since I've recently got a lot of new expenses because moving to an apt. The 0% Apple financing for a year would be awesome, and then pay it off before the promotional period ends, then transfer my limit to my Barclays rewards MasterCard??

I also have my Navy visa, and Cap 1 QS, all Three major cards are at a $0 bal right now. Thoughts on how to approach this? I'd have to leave the garden for The apple visaSmiley Sad

You're in the garden, right?

Use your Navy VISA and pay it off over the next few months.

Does your Navy Visa have 0% Apr left? It might be a good idea to go for something like the city double cash or discover it for the 0% Apr over 12+ months. If the garden is going to cost you hundreds in interest, I'm all for coming out of it. If you can get a free loan via a current card, do it and ask for a sp CLI once it's paid off.

Re: Ugh! Need computer, which card to use? Or new one?

@happy... I wish I could have a different card (heck, I'm lucky I have what I have now). I burned Citi, Chase in my Bk7 in 2013. I'm blacklisted from them for many years to come. Amex is also not available to me for several years, and neither is US bank, BOFA, and pretty much everyone else lol. I've never had Discover before but I'm too recent out of bk. I've applied with them and denied twice. So I'm very limited right now on a major cardSmiley Happy

@elim.... I have considered a laptop! I've never had one before. Do you think they are more versatile? And can I still use a printer with a laptop?? I'm so dumb when it comes to things like this, lol!

Sure you can use a printer with a laptop, I have mutli laptops and a single printer, dont even need cables as its all wireless, if printer is USB can always stick the cable in the USB ports.

If you opt not to leave the gardern for Apple card, you could just purchase on your Barclay rewards card and transfer the balance over to navy with their promotional 2.9%.

Great idea!

2% rewards if you buy at a "grocery" store or at Sam's.
