I receive tons of 1.99% transfers, as Cheddar stated, every couple of weeks. My first WaMu card was originally 19.99%, which is now 10.24%. I was approved for their new offer - referred to by the OP, for UP to $7500. Was given $5000 and 9.99% APR after the year of 0%/0%.

Was given $5000 and 9.99% APR after the year of 0%/0%.Congrats!WaMu has some of the best into offers on purchases I've seen. When I got my WaMu Real Rewards MC in April, they gave me 0% on purchases until Jan 1, 2010, and then 11.99% after that. The catch was that in order to receive the 0% offer, I had to do a BT of at least $100 at the time of application. So I BT'd $100 from my Cap1 card and paid it off as soon as it posted. Got the best of both worlds that way.
I got the Real Rewards MC, not the standard non-rewards Platinum MC. They used to send me offers for the Platinum MC about 3 times a week, with the occasional offer for the Visa thrown into the mix now and then. I mostly ignored them because I didn't want another non-rewards card, but as soon as the offer for the Real Rewards MC came, I jumped on it and they gave me $15K.

Did you get the mastercard or visa? I have their mastercards, which if I'm not mistaken is an original WaMu product. Providian issues/issued the visa product, if my history is correct, which I refuse to accept.

I'd be happy with the 15k, too. And, yes, that is a great reward. Is it cash or points?

Funny you resurrected this thread, FaircreditguyFL, because I was just about to do the same thing.I just wanted to mention that I received some of those checks in the mail today. 1.99% until April 2009.
