Wal-Mart Credit Card

So I applied for the card today as i've heard it was fairly easy to get and was approved for a $300 CL I've only had a BOA secured($600) for two months and was recently approved for Capital One secured ($49/200) so with that limited history i'm very happy to be approved. I applied for the Amazon store card also but was denied shouldn't have wasted another hard pull anyways I was wondering how often do you get CLI and is it soft pull as I don't need any more inquiries for now.

Congrats! You can request a cli every 4 months. It's a SP.

I applied a few months ago and got the same 300 limit. I think I read somewhere that you can ask for a credit increase after 4 months or the 4th statement.

Hey way to go! You can request an increase every 4 months. I would recommend a decent amount of usage and always PIF and you should get one pretty easy. GE is super cool about increases.

Congrats! They gave me an initial 500CL and wouldn't give me the increase till after my 5th statement cut. I asked at 4 months SP and was denied. After my 5th statement I tried again both times via the love button and the 2nd time they bumped it up to 750. I PIF every month and am running a few hundred dollars through it monthly. Based on all my other GE Cards it should get the automatic CLI every 4 months now. You just might have to wait a little longer for the first one. I hear this card has great growth potential!

Congrats. I've had my Walmart discover card since thanksgiving. Open CL was $1200. Today received an email from them stating they doubled my limit to $2400. I was shocked since I didn't even ask for the increase.

Nice! Sometimes I wonder if it's better not to ask for them. Seems like when I don't lenders give out bigger CLI's. But I often can't resist! lol

Walmart is a great retail card.  Just make sure you purchase something every month and PIF and it will grow with you.  They are fantastic for rebuilding.
