WalMart CLI Question?

     Hey gang, I have a quick question. I think it has been asked before but I can't find it when I search.  I started off with a $500 credit limit on a regular walmart card almost 4 months ago. At the 3rd statement I was given an auto CLI of $700 bringing me to $1200 total CL. I know most people hit the luv button at the 4th statement. If I already got an auto CLI at the third statement, would I have to wait for 4 more statements to from the auto CLI to hit the luv button or could I still hit it at the fourth statement cut? I've got my eyes on a nice TV but I don't want to use up most of my CL if I can help it.

You might want to call Credit Solutions. Auto CLI's sometimes leaves money on the table -so to speak.

You could always call the GE Credit Solutions number in the backdoor numbers sticky thread and request a higher CL.  It's a SP, so there's no harm in trying.

My girl Lexie is absolutely right. Every time I hit the luv button and get a cli, or get an auto cli, I immediately call credit solutions and ask for more. 100% success getting more under those two circumstances.

Ah I see, so do they counter if I would ask for more than they are willing to give? I'd rather avoid a straight up denial if I can.

First of all, yes, they will counter. Secondly, who cares if you get a straight up denial? It is a soft pull and you can just immediately call back and talk to someone else....
