In the garden, bored, became curious about the cash limit on the card. On occasion when I shop and swipe, I notice the cash back option. When I reviewed my statement their was a 160.00 available for cash. Sooooo, I called to learn more about how this cash option works and is replenished. Come to find out, while they set a low cash limit initially, you have the option of requesting up to 20% of your total credit line as a cash option. It has to be approved, but I didn't know that was available. And what is also great is that there is no extra fees associated with the cash back option. Walmart is becoming more and more useful/flexible card. I really appreciate the no interest financing options, 5 cents off per gallon of gas, it can be used at SAMs Club. Daydreaming while gardening, a $6,000 CL, with the possibility of a $1200.00 cash option, nice very nice!😊😊
It is an awesome option and I especially love that the card can be used at sams club. buying gas there is my go to now and im saving tons of money as a result.
Wal-Mart denied me but I had no idea there was any store card that had a cash back option. That's pretty cool, actually! I use fuel rewards, and actually end up getting about 15-25¢ a gallon off just for my normal day to day shopping. Groceries rack up the bonus points, plus those little convenience store purchases like soft drinks and such. I used to use a Wal-Mart gift card for the 5¢ off but this is easier. A Wal-Mart card would have been nice for things like groceries, or the day my coffee maker took a dirt nap. The 4 days between coffee maker death and payday were long days indeed.

Are you saying that you can call in and have this adjusted? That's a very big development if that's true. Previously, there wasn't a way to adjust how much your cash back limit was and it didn't grow with your card. So, if you were originally approved with a $300 CL, your cash CL was $60. If your card CL went up, your cash CL didn't. I currently have a $5K Wally card with a $60 cash limit.

That is exactly what I am saying. I had paid on my bill and I had used 40 dollars of the cash option, I asked how was that was replenished, the CSR said when I make a payment, that is one of the last things adjusted. The CSR went on to say, I could request up to 20% of my credit line as a cash option, but it would have to be approved. I did not ask how much at one time I could withdrawal. I don't how they establish the cash limit in the first place, but I have a 6000.00 limit currently with a 160.00 cash option.

I'll have to call in and see if they can adjust mine. Based off your cash limit, I'm guessing your Wally CL was $800 on approval.
AFAIK, you're limited to $60 per day cashover with the Wally store card and $100 per day with the MC. Sam's Club works the same way for their cards and cashover.
