Hi Everyone, just wanted to post that I just received a $1000 CLI on my Wamu visa. I have had the card since January 08. Started off with $4500 and just increased to $5500. I'm so happy!!

Was this an auto-CLI or did you ask for it? If you asked for it did they hard you?

Re: Wamu CLI!!!

WAMU does not do "customer initiated CLI's"

Re: Wamu CLI!!!

Lucky you! I've had my WAMU card sitting at $1000 for the 2-year life of the card.
Does anyone know what requirements need to be met to receive an auto CLI?

You're in WaMU jail just like me, except I've had my card for 10 years. Started at $1k and
still there. Never late, sometimes carried balances, sometimes paid in full. Can't trigger
any increase from them.

I hate them worse than lepers (to loosely paraphrase Neil Young)....

Re: Wamu CLI!!!

Congrats, TLM!

I've heard some people complain that they never got a CLI, but their CC was in the sock drawer and only came out to play once every few months. Then, I've heard people say they used their CC heavily, never late and paid more than the minimum balance and still didn't see CLIs from WaMu. So, it seems to me that WaMu likes heavy use of their cards as well as PIF'ing every month. I have their Visa Platinum (4 months now) and I wouldn't dream of carrying a balance for any amount of time. Hopefully, they'll be good to me as they have been to you, TLM.

Again, congrats!

I too, am curious! How did you 'treat' WaMu?

Re: Wamu CLI!!!

Thanks! This was an auto CLI as Wamu doesn't allow you to request one. I have had months where I have had heavy usage, but I try not to carry a large balance. I am usually under 10%. This is the one card that I will carry a balance on because I have 0% until August of 2009. Right now, I only have about 7% on the card. We are going to Disney on Saturday for a week and I will use this card there. We have the cash put aside to pay it off, but I still want to give it some good usage. Thanks for everyone's encouragement on this forum!!!
