This one is for those that have the Active cash. How long do rewards take to post to your account? Is it post monthly statement or sooner like a Capital One? Can you redeem rewards for purchase "erasing" outside of the $25 minimum they have for cash redemption. E.g. can I buy a pack of gum for $2 and redeem $2 of rewards to erase that purchase?
Rewards seem to post a day or two after statement closing. Yes, you can cover whole purchases (no partial) from your current or most recently closed statement of $1 or more for statement credit. They do not cover minimum payment requirements, however.

Although I like my Active Cash overall, WF's process to redeem cash rewards for statement credits is the least user-friendly of the cards in my wallet. It took me a while to figure out that I can't redeem for charges that are larger than the amount of rewards I have available, so I always need to find one or more relatively small transactions from the previous month that I can use for redeeming my available rewards. I can only request cash back in increments of $25, and I don't typically want to wait that long.
It's as if they were trying to maximize the average amount of time customers wait before requesting redemptions so they can hold onto the money longer.
By contrast, I can get my cash back from the Chase Amazon Prime and Discover It cards deposited to any bank account at the end of the statement period. With Apple Card, the cash back becomes available right away for me to deposit to my bank account or use toward paying my balance. And C1 Quicksilver rewards become available within days to use as a statmenet credit.
