OP you in general seem to focus too much on a score number and nothing else. A score is just a snapshot in time, period, regardless of what model is used. Your score may be slightly lower or higher depending on the model, but a higher score on one model will not make up for a less-than-good history.
Your credit report and overall file carries much more weight. It's about the big picture, not just your score at one moment in time.
I wish I knew what model Capital One used.
From the time I received my first Capital one card my score on their tracker has gone DOWN about 15 points (just denied a CLI for score too low) , while my score on Barclay and Discover has gone up.
On the score tracker for Capital one it says powered by Transunion for me, but what TU version I have no idea, my Fico 8 TU is 718, Capital one shows it as 653.

Don't pay attention to the tracker. The tracker is garbage.
That may be, but the letter showed the same score within 2 points (dated back to 7/27), but said "Source: Equifax Information Services", so I have no idea still...
All I do know is it is not FICO 8, and seems to hit me more for new accounts, it shows me a "D" grade there.
