how are you getting 3X cash back at restaurants with your sallie mae?If you're lucky, at the start of each year (maybe other periodic times too) Barclays will send you an email which gives you BONUS rewards. My mailer gave me the following:
7% cash back for gas (so an additioanl 2% CB)
5% cash back groceries (no change)
5% cash back at book stores (no change)
3% cash back at restaurants (completely new)
3% cash back at toy stores (completely new)
Pretty legit rewards system. There's been threads on it before and we haven't been able to detect any specific reason why some card members get the bonus and others don't.
Yes, I received a targeted offer for my Sallie Mae WMC for 2X extra points (up to 2,500 bonus points) for restaurants, electronics stores, and amusement parks from July 1 through September 30.
I just used my Sallie Mae for the first time last night at a restaurant with DW, coming home from the LPGA U.S. Open final round that was played near my place.
Used my new Cap1 QS to pay off some of my student loan total and get the $100 bonus. 0% APR til next March.
used a coupon and my PRG for lunch. Quicksilver for parking meter. PRG for ice cream. PRG for gas after 25c/gal coupon.
Sallie Mae for my dentist today.
Chase United for an oil change.
Keep both your credit and your body in top shape!

Today I went to Lowes and broke in my new Lowes card to purchase some items for a small project on my camper. It was nice seeing the instant 5% discount on the total purchase.
I used my Freedom for a $15 Starbucks refill. I like 0% APR better than 1.5% cashback
Used Arrival+ today to get a refund put on it since the furniture store thought they were going to keep it! Getting ready to use Sam's Club M/C at their store.
