Re: What did I do wrong?

What we would need is a convincing scenario as to why certain things are happening for you at 18 that usually don't happen to people two or three times your age.  The pictures you produce are cute, but we all know they prove nothing.  We could all use or "produce" images of some sort, what do they really prove?  If I produce a picture of me next to Kate Upton, would you accept any story I told about our "relationship."

The important thing is not that the images are consistent, but that YOUR STORY be consistent and credible by itself.  I haven't heard that.

Re: What did I do wrong?

Trolling or not it's just ridiculous to be so rude. Some of the comments are going a little far. There are people out there who are able to obtain things that others can not. Just put jealousy aside.

Congrats OP for your  great start on your credit journey. It does not seem believable to alot of experienced credit guru's but putting truth aside I'm astonished at  your start.

Re: What did I do wrong?

keithB,

All I did was applied for two credit cards, posted my results, and now you are flaming me and attacking me because you have an issue with believing me? And then you went on saying how you don't trust a lot of things in this world and on YouTube. You can call me a kid if you want, but I will be a bigger man and just ignore you.   I will keep to myself my theory on why u like to flame people on the internet Smiley Happy

Re: What did I do wrong?

Sadly, I think this thread had run its course.  Keeping it open for now, hopefully something pertinent will be added

Haha, not flaming you, just pointing out your own words.  You said everyone starts at 800, right?

You also started this thread that $6000 AMEX was doing something wrong, right?

I was just posting my personal experience, a data point, along with the letter I received from AMEX asking about the adverse reasons and what it meant.  I'm not here to prove anything.

NEVER did I asked the question in this thread, "Do you believe me?" because it's irrelevant and like I said earlier, I was a little bit shocked of my application success.  If someone doesn't believe me, it's okay. There has been many times in my life where I find something hard to believe, and it later turned out to be true.

Re: What did I do wrong?

I think all the OP wants is a simple congrats just like every other person receives on this forum. If it were someone of a different age it would suffice. It's just sad that someone who Is older than the OP would attack him. Seems a bit childish and aggressive saying someone is a liar.

I think the topic got derailed. Im not going to ask xtremejason about his life or finances to try to dig for truth.

Congrats again on a good start.
