Re: What does Citi like to see for CLI?

@FalconSteve Citi is a very interesting character I got my DC back in April 5K SL then bumped up in May to 10K. I have spent about 20K since then on the card everytime i ask no dice. Either accounts too new or too many recent inqs. I really like the card the low CL just really is a pain to have to make multiple payments just to keep my self with avaliable credit

Amex ED: 8K, Macys Amex: 4K , BOA Premium Rewards: 60K , Best Buy Visa: 7K , VACU Mastercard: 11.5K Discover: 25K, Amex Delta Reserve 15k, Apple Card:3.5K, Saks WEMC 16.2K, PNC Cash Unlimited: 20K

Doubled your limit after a month?  Was that CLI of the SP or HP variety?  What sort of spend did the card see that first cycle?

Re: Citi CLI- CP vs HP

That is the hard pull language. Typically EQ here, although I am sure it can vary.

+1

Hard pull

I think I had the Citi DC about a year before I saw the SP language

We've had that language before, which is why this new language worried me. We'll hold off a month or two. Thanks

That screen shot is only a minute old.

It is your profile not a blanket Citi  HP's only, or Covid plan.

As you said just keep an eye on it.

While it can vary from profile to profile, I'm one of the ones who only use a card for a $2 bag of ice every six months and they are still giving me SP increases.

+100.

True for me also.

I have never taken a BT offer,  or put spend on a card that was not in the cards rewards category (except by mistake).  Always pay to keep low utilization, never pay interest, and have never reported  20% utilization on any card.  This means only a few swipes on the majority of my cards and average monthly spend not worthy of needing but a few thousand CL.   All my cards have grown to extremely reasonable CL's.

Use your cards for rewards and benefits and pay on time.

It is that simple    Smiley LOL

Re: What does Citi like to see for CLI?

For me and DW, Citi DC has offered us $1500 or $2000 every six months SP no matter the spend.

They used to be our main cards and now they get an occasional bill and general spend.

We like to keep our lines open just in case.

250k+ CL and climbing.
