Was wondering what everyone's real sock drawer is- DH does have a sock drawer but that's not what the cards go in

I have what is called "the book" it is a red book w/ plastic pages that you can put things in between the plastic- I placed a floppy disc "plastic pocket" on the front of ea. page and placed the card in there- then all the info related to the card goes into the plastic sleeve-

then the book goes into the safe which is the real "sock drawer"

a 3" binder that I keep everything credit related in (all reports, disputes, all offers, all letters when I received a card, any change of terms, etc) - just an envelope that resides in the front cover's slip pocket ---  and that resides in the firesafe..

The ones I use I carry.
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

Thats too funny. That gives me a new thought- I never carry more than one- we rotate- do you are any of the other's out there carry more than one at a time?

I don't- I can always run home to get the card that suits me- right now I am carrying my Discover and switching it w/ Freedom at the present time.

Re: What is you REAL sock drawer?

I carry 2 M/C and 3 gas cards (others are at home)... I work in 3 counties in 2 states (going up to 4 counties in 3 states soon) -- running home is not an option -- could be 2 hours each way with rush hour traffic.

Now as soon as I figure out the reporting dates - it might go to 1 MC & 1 gas card

Re: What is you REAL sock drawer?

OK, OK, OK, you saw it on the other thread --my sock drawer is my underwear drawer. My drawers drawer, I guess. So there! Too much rummaging through the sock drawer to risk a card going flying. (And no, that does not mean that I never change underwear.)

Since I'm using my USAA AmEx for everything from salt packets upwards (to accumulate points), I carry it all the time, plus one of the MC's in case I wind up in some place that AmEx won't go.
