Which card is your favorite and why? Is it simply the design of the card, the reward opportunities, the elite aspect?
Just curious what everyone's fave is & whyI don't have many major cards, but I love my Freedom UL which is what I use on a daily basis. I also like my Amex BCE, but it take forever for things to post to my account, plus I'm not a fan of the plastic looking design lol
I like what they are going for with the clear card, but I think they could have done a little better job on the look of the clear.
Yes, I agree. Maybe make the clear look a little better.

I'm guessing they added some of the sparkly stuff to make scratches less noticable... If it was a completely clear, smooth finish(while pretty when new) it would look much worse much quicker in my opinion. My beef is the overall feel of the card feels cheap imo.
Exactly. I just got my card in July and scratches are already noticeable on my new card. I haven't even used it much.

The card that gives me the biggest CL.
Right now it's United Mileage $33,000.00
My Discover It is my daily card and hands down my favorite.
1) BCP. 6% Groceries. 5% Travel. 3% Gas. 2) Amex Platinum 3) Discover Card
I'd have to say Discover for the following reasons:
1) they gave me my first 5000 SL.
2) I seem to be able to use their 5% catagories with no problem.
3) I scored nearly 300 bucks thanks to double cashback which to me is as good as, if not better than, a bonus in many situations.
4)I really don't mind calling customer service.
5) I love the website and shopping portal.
6) I've had the cad a year and 3 months and I've gone from 6k Sl to a 20k CL with no hits to my credit score.
7) I like the ability to change the looks of the card just because I get bored with the design.
Simply put...I feel like I make money with this card.
I have a favorite card for every potential category, but the one I count as the crown jewel of sorts in my current collection if you will is my BoA Cash Rewards card. The reason is because it has a 9.99% fixed interest rate for purchases and BT plus being a rewards card, and I get recurring 0% BT promo offers all the time from BoA for it. It originally started out as a BoA Platinum Plus with WorldPoints rewards that I first received in 2007, BoA later upgraded it to a Cash Rewards WMC in 2014. It has been my last and only single-digit, fixed-rate rate card to survive and emerge unscathed from CARD Act, since all the others were either closed down or RJ'd by the issuers. It has been over 9 years and counting now, and the rate is still fixed.
I know that technically people may be able to get even lower fixed rates now from CUs, which is definitely also awesome. For me IME though, since fixed-APR bank credit cards are an extremely endangered and/or nearly extinct species atm lol, the relative strength and stability of a fixed-rate credit card below 10% with rewards cannot be matched by any of my other cards in my collection, in mho.
Former cards:DMB Titanium MC @ 90-day, 0% grace period | $4k BEFCU MC @ 5.49% F | $21.9k Citi DPR @ 5.99% F | Chase Platinum MC @ Prime+1.67% |

Sallie Mae. Love the 5% on gas, groceries, and bookstores (Amazon). Rewards post quickly, and it doesn't take long to hit the redemption threshold. I also have a pretty good APR (10.24%) and a nice CL. I'm very happy with it.
