I've seen where most threads branch off into other topics so no one should be surprised. Try posting about travel or heaven forbid Chase, and see what discussions ensueSo true AJC I actually just realized that we were talking about applying.Haha! Sorry about that, let's bring this topic back to it's original theme. Show us your tricks!
I got the impression two or three pages ago that you weren't serious about gardening. That's why I mentioned CSR.
If you are serious, maybe ask a moderator to close the thread or just drop out of it and find something else to do. Maybe I'll drop out of the thread if my advice isn't of interest.
Constantly thinking about something you're trying to deny yourself while seeing others get more of it (even if just through updated signatures rather than the approval forum) doesn't seem a good way to resist it for long.
Oh no wasCB14 your advice matters. And I do take it seriously, your advice has given me something to work towards when I do step out of the garden. I am really just trying to find ways or learn new tricks of making it interesting and fun, while being in the garden and wanted to know what most people do to help with those urges, I mean after all, we are but human. But I do value your advice. And I am working hard to stay within the garden fences.
Maybe a sentence for 1 year by the Mods in garden jail for trying to escape due to addicting urges for applications.
Duct tape.....
(I have nothing else to offer)
freeze your 3B. knowing that your apps will always get denied until a manual review should do the trick lol. ex cheats a bit but the one-time access pins but freezing works imo. business cards are a good way to cheat the garden and with amex cards they seldom hp so the sl costs nothing and utilization is a thing of the past. passing the time with sub referrals are also a nice way to garden. planting citrus is a great way to garden, dirt is great but pots can also work. all of the dwarfts that I have installed recently are ~3 years old. citrus is not a fast grower but its really nice to see something change each day that is positive. L is meyer, M bearss and R is key. also did a number of valencia's, one is just done with releafing, so interesting how all the oranges are on a different time schedule. I am in socal so there is lots of sun for this sort of fun. step away from credit cards, they are not going anywhere

Freezing is good if gardening.
I think I read HPs are still the norm for Amex small business cards. I got a HP on BBP in early April.
@Anonymous crystal ball .. I just did a bb+ today off of an rsvp email I got 3 months ago, 20K @ $5K and 15 month @ no % no hp but I have known 4 people that have bgrs that got the bb+ off a cold app with no hp.
I am terrible at gardening My last HP was for NCFU 7/6 but I am happy and that was my last application for the remainder of the year.
I will still play with SPs but I am gonna be very patient and not apply for anything else for the rest of this year.
Most effective way to garden is to NOT garden lol. Same reason why my new year's resolution in 2010 was to never make another new year's resolution again. That one worked out beautifully.
