I carry the same three cards all the time and the categories never change, and I still have to think about which card to pull out. It drives me nuts. I'd go insane if I had the complexity you have. Hats off to you. It's impressive that you can keep it all straight. I wouldn't be able to.
I got in to CCs simply to save money. I can pay less if I use money in the left pocket rather than the right pocket. Or vice versa.
Ok, J-J-S and NHL gave me my answer. Very helpful and so glad I asked. Thanks guys!!
I'll set my two CCs to a 27th due date.

Yep, since you can't pick the closing date, pick the due date as the 27th and the closing date should be the 1st most of the time.
Before I decided on the 27th long ago, I did debate on if I should adjust it so that it would close around the 3rd or 4th, so that way I could make charges all the way to the end of the month, but then of course realized it's better to just make it the same as other cards so that pending charges work the same (IE: don't charge anything 3-5 days before the closing date for it to count toward the current billing cycle).
I currently use both of my CCC cards for the same categories every month, so that also makes it easier to organize spending.

Mobile wallet? Let me tell you what I think about giving all my CCs to one corporation AND handing them my aggregated spending data.

Now I have that off my chest. "Card in hand" is "Card in hand"
Well, I already use some of their other services like email and browsers. I just assume they can scan my online activity (which would include bank notifications for every credit card purchase I make) if they really want that information. For me, using mobile wallet won't give them anything they can't already figure out in other ways.
