Just curious what the trend is for each bank. We have so many people who ask what lender gives the biggest increases, so let's start a DP thread.
What's the highest CLI you've received on your cc and what bank was it with?
Mine was: CapitalOne --> $11K increase
edit: Oh wait! I lied. Amex gave me a $11.9K increase in March '22.

For Personal IIRC,
SP CLI @$25,000.00 / SFFCU
Lowes / Synch "SP" from Approval 09-15-2021 ->10-14-2021 = $28,000.00
It wasn't an actual CLI but that's how I look at it.
I paid and closed my $1k Delta Amex in early 2017 prior to filing Ch 13.
I applied and was approved for the exact same card in 2022 with a $10k limit.
My reward for not burning the bridge.
Thank you Amex!
Technically it was about a week ago with Synchrony. Went 25 months without activity on Lowe's and got a CLD to $1500, but then seconds after seeing it I asked for my $35k and got it back with a $33,500 CLI.
As both a percentage and raw dollar amount of a real CLI, probably US Bank Cash+. I got the card during a period when the computer was handing out weird $500 starting lines for clean and well-aged profiles. One call and they asked how much I wanted. I went with $15k and got a 30X CLI, or $14,500. There was also a $14k to double CSR with Chase around that time.
Mine was probably Lowes, They gave me an initial SL of $2k so I called the recon number and they asked what I wanted, I said $15k and they gave me $10k. It's now at $35k after killing the increase button just about every month since then
Ok, so theeeese are definitely the stats we want to see! 😃
The last two CLIs I've received (most recent about 5-6 years ago at this point) were for $20k each with Chase. The first was on a $10k CL card and the second one was on a $50k CL card.
AMEX 15,7k for my BCP
Next would be USB for 8k
I'm probably not the best source of data on this, but my biggest CLI was $4800 from BoA last August-- the first time I ever smashed a luv button in my entire life. The card went from $2000 to $6800. My 2nd luv button smash on this card, a couple weeks ago, I only requested an increase to $8000 and received it, so I don't know what I would have gotten if I'd shot for the moon. I'm not a big CLI-er.
It's possible that I had gotten larger auto CLIs decades ago, on a BoA card I no longer have, pre-2008-recession but I don't remember now. This card had a $5000 SL and peaked at $16,500 after multiple auto CLIs, during a big spending period in my life. This is the highest CL on one card I ever had, and ever will... I'm a lot more conservative when it comes to CLs now.
I also got a $2000 SP CLI from Chase just recently ($3000->$5000), but like my last BoA request, I throttled the request by requesting a specific amount instead of letting them give me whatever they wanted to.
Lowes card, just went from 25k to 35k. I hope I didn't leave any money on the table...🥹
