I got a $1000 secured card from US Bank Jan 2012, in Jan 2013 I asked for a Platinum card, and was granted $8,500.
2.5 month later I asked for another US Bank card and was granted $6,500. I have since PC'd them both into Cash+ cards

Friggin sweet! USBank uses that 4th CRA I hear. I may get the stones to app there in a year.
LOL, Chemical Bank, back in the early 1980s.

US Bank used Equifax both times. I did try for a CLI in July which was denied (I think the second card application counted as getting more credit, so I wasn't eligible for even more credit via a CLI) and the CLI attempt pulled TU. YMMV.
Actually to be more precise, the CLI attempt was denied with no HP and a explanation I didn't understand, so I called and the CSR didn't understand either, so we put in a request for review with a HP. And then it was denied the second time... Still, 15K total credit from US Bank plus 2 PC's to Cash+ all in the first half of 2013, hey I have no complaints here AT ALL....
My first was back in 1983 with Citi Choice card. Starting CL was 2.5k, and Bank of New York starting CL 4.1k. I can't believe i still remember all that!
My USAA MC jumped from $1,500 to $3,000 a few years back - first card to ever break $2,000. I was ecstatic and yet didn't go on a shopping spree at the same time (goodness) Then during the 2008 economic downturn, they slashed my limit back down to $1,500.

One of my first 'real' cards. I got approved for 1.5K and I love it, but I fear my other cards will get neglected.
