Citi card. Gave me 4K after only having my credit union card for 2 years at measly $250 limit. Man, I thought I had hit gold!!!!
NFCU started me with a $5,000 limit when my largest tradeline at the time was $900 (secured), I think. They're still my largest tradeline now sitting at $15,000 (+15,000 for NavChek). Love them!
My initial CL on my usaa platinum cash rewards master card was 3,500, which was sadly my first real revolver -- just this past November. My credit has been on a wild ride since then.... When I found myfico my credit scores were in the 560s (sept or oct of 2012) now my game is elevated a bit.
Mine was Cap1. while rebuilding after a messy divorce...
My first CC was a Capital One card that went from $500 to $1500 over a couple of years. No more CCs for several more years, and then applied for an NFCU Cash Rewards card. They hit me with a $25,000 CL. Needless to say, I was shocked.
My first 2k card was Chase when I applied and they approved me for 3k out the door. I now have 4.8k CL with them and my account hasn't even hit a year yet. It pays to have a banking relationship for 4 years prior to applying.
