Re: What was your first card?

1) Capital One Platinum (x2)
2) Starting limit $1,000, don't remember other limit.
3) Both opened in 2003 by my mom when I was 17
4) One was closed by mom, one hat I did not know about, the other closed by me when Capital One imposed monthly fee on the card when I was barely using it.

Re: What was your first card?

CitiForward for Students (back when the reward system was still worth a damn!)

Intial limit 800 (now 2k)

Opened in 2009, I turned 18 a couple months before I opened it.

Yes, I still have it. But I've run up the card and so it sits idle on my bedside table while I square it away.

Cards: CitiForward for Students (2K, opened 8/2009), Discover it (2K, opened 7/2010), AMEX BCE (1k, opened 12/2010), Capital One Quicksilver (4.5k, opened 11/2011), Chase Freedom (1.5k, opened 8/2014)

AMEX Platinum (NPSL, AC arrangement, added 12/2011), Citi AAdvantage AMEX (9k, AU, backdated to 9/2008)

Scores: TU 667, EQ 651

Re: What was your first card?

First Card:  Carte Blanche

Credit Limit:  None/NPSL

Year Opened: 1972 at age 21

Still Open?:  No, unfortunately.  I was young and foolish in those days, thought I was going to conquer the world, see the sights, yada yada.  Didn't take care of it, and it was closed.  Getting credit back in those days was a LOT different than today.
