Hello all! First time posting here. I recently traded in my old car for a new one. My old car had a 13% APR, and my new one went to 3%. So, on a hunch, I went on a mini app spree and was able to get a few cards! Which is crazy because about 6 years ago, I had about 4 cards, but I lost my job and couldn't pay them, so they went to collections.
So I was able to get a few cards, but I want to see if I can get a few more, just for emergencies. I applied for the Discover IT, and got denied (they actually said to find a co signer!) I also applied for the Chase Freedom, and I got the 7-10 day message. My question is, when should I call on Recon for this? I literally just applied about 30 min ago. Thank you!!!
Yes call and recon the Chase for sure. It doesnt hurt to try, you already took the hard inquiry hit. I got BoA to recon my travel rewards card because I was denied for too many inquiries.

It would help to get some scores and profile information before you go spending time and possibly another HP with a recon.
