Which AmEx to cli?

I currently have the delta Amex at $19,500, 3x from $6,500. This was my first Amex revolver that I did a cli. I also have the blue for business that is at $3,000. I have not done a cli on this. Does anyone have an opinion or advice on which to cli next.

Whichever one you will get more use out of with a higher limit.

Re: Which AmEx to cli?

I could max the delta at what I believe from reading is $25,000? The extra $5000 doesn't seem very significant. However building up the blue does. Maybe I answered my own question but seeing a $25,000 limit would be nice.

I'd go with the lower one, in case you *may* use it in the future.  However, if this is unlikely the case, then the Delta.

The card doesn't max out at $25k - that's just the threshold most people see with Amex before needing to provide a 4506-t so Amex can look at your tax returns. If you have the income to support it, you can request more than $25k. Fair warning though: At about $40k total exposure with Amex, you might have to go through a full financial review.

With the Amex 3x CLI, you'll get $500 more out of CLI'ing the Blue $3k card than you will out of the Delta.

Re: Which AmEx to cli?

I believe the reallocation guidelines are donor card must be 13 months old and receiver card must be 60 days old. So if you do the lower one so you get slightly more if you're wanting to avoid going over $25k for the Delta, you could move some to the Delta at some point. Note: Only know the guidelines because I was misinformed by two chat agents before the third tried to do it for me from 6 month old card to brand new card, after telling me it's outside the guidelines, but she'd try.

Re: Which AmEx to cli?

i would rather have one card at $9k and one at $19,500 vs one at $25k and one at $3k
