No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I currently only have 2 cards which are
Chase Slate : $4200 credit limit
Chase Freedom Unlimited: $7000 credit limit
I want to get a third one so I can be in the green zone for that and have my score higher.
I checked with chase and I haev a pre-approval for the Chase Sapphire preffered. But trying to see if there's anything better and that are more genorous with what I would be approved for.
Let me know, thanks in advance.
All depends on your spend and your needs. If you travel/eat out alot the CSP is a good card otherwise other cards might suit you better being a straight 2% card or a low APR card. With you scores you pretty much can get whatever you would like assuming you have a decent AAoA, income and DTI ration which it appears you hae a decent DTI based on FICO score. We need more information, but if it was on score alone you can pretty much get any card you want as that is considered excellent credit.
Since you have 2 cards with Chase I would diversify, not keep all your eggs in one basket. How about a Citi card or Bank of America or a credit union or Amex.

I was just about to edit the thread, I don't travel much. But spend a lot buying cars through the auction, have been using my freedom for the 1.5%. Buy them, pay it off and collect the points.
What would be the next best card that is not revolved around traveling much?
Yes DTI is great, I keep my utilization around 7-15% on both cards. Currently at 4% and that's when it jumped from 760 to 781
AAoA is:
Your average length of credit: 2Y 7M
Age of your newest account: 2Y 1M
Age of your oldest account: 3Y 0M

Which would be the top 3 cards out of those to choose? I'll look them up and go from there, there's just a plethora of available cards I have no clue which to go for.
I don't travel much*
I like the idea of bringing another bank into the mix, but I also like the idea of the Chase trifecta (the Freedom Unlimited, the Freedom, and a Sapphire). Because of 5/24 and Chase's sensitivity to new accounts, it makes sense to apply for Chase cards before others.
If the CSP is a good fit, I'd apply for it and product-change (PC) the Slate into a Freedom.

Product change would make my CL on my slate transfer to the freedom?

Would you consider an Amex card?
I am open to any card which would be generous with the credit limit given when opening and has CLI how chase does, they've been gradually increasing my limit.
The Chase trifecta would be great PC the slate to the freedom (no hp or new account) then pick up the CSP at least for a year as AF is waived for first year I believe and collect the 50k UR's then if needed you can downgrade to the no AF CS after a year if not happy.
Also consider picking up another bank as others stated. I personally love PenFed the powercash 2% (1.5% if you don't have checking, otherwise 2% if you have checking and meet crrteria (card is awesome IMHO if you can hold $500 in the penfed checking account ) also they have great auto loan rates among other things if ever neeeded although I bet you would get a very nice CL with your scores assuming income is good. CU's in the mix is always a very good thing to have IMO. 5 dollar min. redemption thresholds is all on it. Mine currently sits at 35k limit.
So suggest getting 2 cards vs. 1 and your profile should handle it well apply and get the CSP which should be an auto approval then pick up any 2% card, my recommendation is above but there are others. CU's are just known to be more generous with CL's, etc.
