Hello. I'm wondering what would be some decent cards to try applying for. I have the usual credit one, Capital one and Merrick cards and a couple store cards. Utilization is under 5%. Fico 8 scores range 680-700. I've been rebuilding and I want to try for some better cards to try and get one that I can actually use a lot each month and pay off. The cards I have are all low $300-400 limits which make them hard to use to try and grow. I feel like my credit should support a mid grade card, but I get denied on all the pre qualifys that I do. Any ideas on where I should try?

You might want to wait a while in view of your recent inquiries.
But some good cards to try for are Discover IT and Amex BCE.
Also you might want to ask the moderators to move this post from "Credit Card Approvals" to "Credit Card Applications" or "Credit Cards"
I can sympathize with the low limits. I started last year with a card that had a $300 CL, and it was definitely a struggle to use. After a few months of that, I decided to focus on lenders who were known for high limits, and who were also friendly to people new to credit (your interest is obviously those friendly to rebuilders, but our situations have a lot of overlap). I had a lot of success with FBNO and Navy Fed, so they might be worth a look. Both have prequals, though the FNBO one should be more reliable. Discover is also supposed to another good option, and so are credit unions. If you don't qualify for Navy, you could find a local CU, or one of the other big national ones.
When you do apply, put your best face forward. Put AZEO in place a month or so before, and wait at least a few months between applications. See if there's anything that might be holding you back. That includes whatever you're rebuilding from (lenders differ on how they respond to things like BKs), and remember income and DTI are important.
if you are getting denials on PreQuals, then you need to take a break for another 3-6 months - that is an indicator that your score/history is not ready for any new apps
though it is is a pain to use low limit cards, use them regularly, and make payments frequently (example - put gas on it - then make a payment on it as soon as it posts - rinse and repeat for all the cards, with regular spend)
good luck to you - in this credit 'game', time/patience always ends up being a big factor in your success

I would try the FNBO prequalification to see if it comes back with something good. They are known to approve profiles like yours. Also, I think Anonymalous gave some really good advice. Follow it and you will get there! Good luck.
i started off with two $300 card on my credit journey 2 yrs ago after not using credit for 15 yrs. Now I have almost 40k in line with a score less than yours! apply for a no annual AMEX (BCE) and a citibank issues store card like wayfair or best buy - I am sure you will get over 1500-
I would recommend looking at your spend categories and focusing on getting cards that reward you the most for those. The CardPointers app has an icon that ranks cards acoording to category.
Years ago someone here had in their signature "I have the patience of Buddha" I never forgot that. I went a little too crazy in the beginning of my rebuild with apps, however, after I calmed down and started spacing apps out and planning them out better, things took off. A little strategy goes a long way. Those cards are great for the start but as soon as you get your second major (Disco, Amex BCE/ED, Chase Amazon), then send them to the chopping block like what they are... yesterday's tool. 😉

The best to try is the bank that you use. Most banks will be happy to help you to establish credit.
When I help my young family member to open own credit card, we came to our local bank. Opened cash back card as the first starter card. Then build on it.
Also, stay with good name cards. Stay away from those 3rd or 4th tier banks. Good name carries a lot weight.
Good luck.
