I do all my spending on the Chase Amazon card and they have never shown me any auto luvSo, as we have suggested before, time to stop using it as daily driver!
+1 I did not receive a CLI on my Chase Amazon until my Discover IT went up for 5% rotation category and I temporarily stopped using the Chase. As an aside, in hindsight I would have better benefited from the store card. Chase Amazon cannot be PC'd into a different Chase card and I'm gardening now so no store card on the horizon anyways.

It seems like you're specifically looking for an Amazon card?
If so the store card would be best. If you're looking to use it for other purchases then the Chase card would be a better go.
Discover It might start you with a disappointing low limit but it will definitely grow more than the Chase would.
My vote would go to the Discover card. Hopefully you'll get the $50 Amazon bonus and the Cashback year match.
OP already has the Citi DC, so outside of Amazon, the Chase card has no advantage over that (and only gives 2% on some categories). So either Amazon store card, or something else. Chase Amazon is almost never the answer!
My Discover It has been my daily driver! it!

@CreditCuriousity wrote:Both of the cards OP mentioned are known to give fairly anemic starting lines. Something to consider as well, although Discover will grow every 3 months. Many other options as well such as Cash + and other cards I believe still offer 100 dollar bonus for X Amt of spend whether 500 or 1k. Chase Amazon is a meh card, Discover for at least the first year is a decent card due to double cash back then it really depends on whether you enjoy rotating category cards.
I agree. Go with the Discover. The CL will grow over time and the customer service compared to the Chase Amazon is so much better. Also, in addition to the CLI every 3 months you can also call in and ask for special promotions on the account (i.e. APR promotions, spend promotions, etc). Defintely go with the Discover card.
+1
Chase's customer service stinks compared to Discover.
Can't tell you how much I appreciate speaking to an English speaking human rather than heavily accented English with some Spanish thrown in there.
Plus Discover will actually give you an APR decrease if you request it, unlike Chase who will say, "We don't do APR decreases, it's against company policy, you'll have to apply for another card."
