Do it......now!!! 
I did this morning - approved for $1800, which was bumped up to $8000 via Credit Solutions.
This was also after a Paypal and Gap approval two days before.
The mastercard still earns 1% CB in the warehouse (boo!), so I may continue to use my Discover It just to run some transactions through every now and again. The 3% travel and dining along with 5% gas is fantastic, especially for a GERCB card!

I'm in the same boat as you are, going down some white river rapids. I have lots of new credit. As bad as I want the card, and I know I will use it, I'll probably just end up putting it off until at least January, don't want another drop in AAOA. Boy is it hard to do though....

Wow that's not cool! Your missing out on a great card, not to mention Sams Club is quite awesome in its own right. Not many places you can buy 10lb bags of beef jerky for next to nothing lol
Not me. Whenever I do exit the garden whenever that might be, I guess it could be part of the escape. No plans at all for it right now.
