Read some where that Chase is Phasing out all it's cards to VISA versions by end of this year. Seems co-branded cards might be an exception. Does any know more about this?
Even though Visa/Master doesn't have much difference. I would like to have a bit of balance b/w Visa and master Cards...

probably has to do with the fees and contract negotiations Chase has with each company.
Visa probably gave Chase better terms.
I got notice in the mail yesterday that they are changing out their debit cards from m/c to Visa.. not sure of their cc's though..
Originally when I got my freedom last September it was visa and I got it switched to mc when asked customer support via Twitter.not sure if you can still do that or not. Only reason I wanted it to be mc is all my other cards are visa cards.
They said, I am not eligible to get a Master version of my Freedom Card. Not sure, why.
"Doesn't like" is applying way too much emotion to a business decision.
