If the EX is 637 it is possible...
Eh, I'd hold off until you're really happy with your scores and comfortable with your reports. AmEx is too dang twitchy about those at the lower end of the score range. You'll also get a much better deal with them as your scores and reports improve. Once that Navy card has been cooking away for 6 months, that might be the time to go after them!
In the meantime, you can make a mobile out of their mailings and hang it on the patio or something, and freak out your new neighbors. At least you're in the hunt! that's what matters.
