Re: X1 Card review :)

I went to Plaid directly where i created a log on and deleted any connection that they had showing. I also changed the password on my bank account...just in case.

Could you explain how this is done.  Did you have to download the Plaid App?  You said you created a log on; once created, the account found you bank info?  Need more info so I can also unlink my account.

Re: X1 Card review :)

Friendly reminder... we can't solicit (ask or offer) invites to this card on myFICO.

Thanks for understanding.

Re: X1 Card review :)

It would be just like creating a lon on for most other sites.

https://my.plaid.com/

Follow the link and create an account. When you enter your info the website should present you with all of the links to your accounts that you have been using, it calls them "Connections". From there you can see what banks you have links to and it will give you the option to disconnect the links. You can re-visit the web site to see if any other "Connections" have been created. You should know if any have because you would have given permission to your account to connect to your bank. But in case you forget then just revisit the site.

Good luck.

Re: X1 Card review :)

I suppose it is ironic I just received an email about a Plaid class action settlement. I thought it was related to the X1 Card, but turns out it was from using Plaid with Robinhood.

Re: X1 Card review :)

  • @fm92555 - Thanks for the info. Follow the directions and created an account and Plaid had 0 connections for me.  I can see both my accounts that I linked via Plaid on the X1 App but Plaid still said I had 0 connections.  I went ahead and changed my passwords to both bank account.

Do anyone knows how to unlink bank using the X1 App?  I can see my bank accounts when I go to payment but don't see how to remove them!

Re: X1 Card review :)

@cashorcharge - I see how to manually add the account.  Do you know how to delete the link ones from X1 App?  I've already changed my credentials and reactived MFA!

Sorry @Caribsa89

I did this some ago and don't recall the steps I followed.

Re: X1 Card review :)

No problem.  I also unlinked the account from the Capital One App and revoked Plaid permission in the BofA App eventhough Plaid claimed, I do not have connections, I found the Plaid App link for X1 in both of my accounts.  Then changed the username and password.  Both accounts are still showing up on the X1 App and I don't know how to delete them and add one manually.
