Yet another Cap One EO question (sorry)

I looked around but couldn't find anything relating specifically to this.

Does anyone know where Cap One EO pulls from when evaluating for a CLI?

Orchard Bank- which is now Cap One, obviously- seems to have a much longer window from due date to closing date- my historical statements all seem to be about 6 days between, instead of the typical 3 days for actual Cap One/Amazon Chase/etc.

I want to contact the EO for a CLI. I'm so impatient...I paid everything down to zero and almost everything has updated, but I imagine that if they SP and my FICO is a little higher because I waited first for the Orchard card to update to zero balance (even though they can see internally the zero balance), it will probably help my chances.

So, if the EO uses EX, I'm just going to email today, because I am going nuts waiting and I think it might even have updated and I just won't know until tomorrow (when creditsesame would tell me it updated), but if its a random thing...then...I'll just. keep. waiting. And possibly chew my fingers off and gouge my eyes out, so that I don't have to look at my email or be tempted to send one.

Not sure who they SP but

you look ready as far as having your ducks in order to apply for a CLI

Good luck

P.S. no eye gouging and nail bitting..Lol

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

I have had my cap one rewards card for barely over 12 months and limit stuck at $500 the whole time.  I emailed EO yesterday afternoon.  They left me a voicemail last night.  I called this morning and requested additional $1500.  They called me back three hours later and gave me cli of $1000.  They were very pleasant to deal with...quick and painless cli.

Re: Yet another Cap One EO question (sorry)

No promises on the fingers or eyes.

Yes, fingers crossed re: CLIs. The Orchard card is 2 years 2 months, one Cap One card is 2 years 3 months, and the other Cap One card is 10 months. Both Cap Ones got the "credit builder" (whatever its called) bump after 7 months, and the Orchard card got a $100 bump at my request, over a year ago. Hopefully, they'll find these cards due for a CLI as much as I find them due for a CLI.

I think you will be fine and surprised by Cap1

Be aware the Orchard will be a HP

Cap1 SP

Re: Yet another Cap One EO question (sorry)

Like everyone said CapOne is a SP but I also don't know what CB they pull from.  For me Orchard Bank was a hard pull and on 03/29 they pulled Equifax.

Re: Yet another Cap One EO question (sorry)

Someone actually suggested that since Orchard is Cap One now, that they might potentially consider rolling them all into one (as will be my request) and bumping the CL overall. I wasn't planning to ask the Orchard Bank side of Cap One to give me a raise, and if Cap One won't combine, I'll just see what they can do. No interest in messing with Orchard a.k.a. my third Cap One Platinum.
