The only negative i have left is a 3 year old charge off from BofA, I don't think Amex would have approved even the PSL Zync if i had a bankruptcy, i finally got fed up with their denials and called the corporate office and they sited the zync as the reason for the denial.
I have a Chase Freedom which has no AF and much better rewards than the Zync so i don't really care about it anyways, I only keep it because the AF is low but other than that i don't even use it anymore, the rewards are junk.

so they said that if you cancel the card and apply for a different charge card, you would get approved?

No, They said that i am not eligable for another card while i still have this particular card opened, I would have called BS if this was a simple CSR but this was straight from the Executive Office.
I actually found the Thread that i posted a while back about the denial.
