ok, as you know i was denied by walmart appd online in feb..never got a letter why or a card but inquiry showed on cr..sooo..yesterday i was in walmart and they had a kiosk you could apply at where they also had registries so there i figured if denied i wouldnt be in line and humilated..so i app'd and it said i needed to call walmart credit svcs..so i did and was transferred w/someone 2 verify info but he didnt really verify anything but last 4 of ssn and spelling of my name..

then he said i was approved for walmart discover,but only $750...but hey..that's ok..

Thank God,i got that straight finally..now on to nfcu!! wish us luck!

I just got mine last month.  GEMB is strange is all I can say.  I haven't tried the CLI button or asked yet.  I got a 2k limit, but when I was approved the approval page said 1k. (So I kinda figured I already got a 1k CLI....lol)   I've had a Lowes card for 4 years and have only gotten one CLI from 725 to 1200 and I've asked often...lol.  I'd use it and PIF a few months then ask, if I were you.  The reason for the low CL is that they want to see how you handle it.  So the use and PIF option is going to be the action that will ring the auto-CLI bell in their system quicker, IMO.

is this like a normal discover like my more card or like the hsbc discover which i have and hate! and may close now no cli since open 2006

Try the CLi button every 4 months with Walmart.

I already received 2 increases doing that.

Each time I received $100 increase.

I have not used my walmart card since January.

just hit the luv button and go $100 cli .... now I am at a whopping $350.

At least, I can finally take advantage the no intrest for 12 months ( if I want to max out the card)
