Re: cards with the most wow value

As I recall, the only comment I've ever gotten was for my CSP when purchasing food at Five Guys. While I do appreciate the designs on cards, I almost never get any comments on any of them. Maybe if I had a Centurion or something that would be different, but ... Smiley Tongue

I think I had a few people wondering how to swipe  it and find the required stuff to input it into their systems with my CSP, CS , and Discover cards since they are on the back lol

Hmmm...

How about First Premier with 36% APR w/ amazing super cheap $75AF, which is so much cheaper than AMEX Plat?  How about the rewards?  Let's see....More APR! First Premier offers the best APR in the country, a whopping 36% will have your checking account drained out in no time!!  You'll be awesomely surprised by the fact that you'll may never have a $0 balance after your statement cut...but hey...who likes having 0s in their balance?

I am apping based off this comment alone! =)

Ironically the most comments I get are on my QS saying how light it is. Not really in a negatve tone, but more surprised. Had one comment on my CSP before I SDed it.

Why SD the CSP? PC or cancel it

I meant the way they look when you take them out of your wallet. Like the wow factor.

One of those things I don't get then.  All just plastic (or meeeeettalllllll) rectangles.  What matters is what they do.   Though I have learned (though still don't get it) that appearance matters to some people.

Plat Rewards is vertical, right?  So that is unusual enough to get some comments.  Have never used mine!

Yes, thats the one that gets the most compliments. The rep is always like omg! this is so cool lol...The Older women at Fred Meyer's think the Simmons First looks like some romance book cover.

Re: cards with the most wow value

tbh, I have never gotten a comment or even a second look whenever I have used my amex platinum, I am surprised cause whenever I seen someone using one I was like, wow, an amex platimum, I guess everyone is used to seeing it. like I said earlier in this thread, I have always gotten a comment whenever using the unicorn!

This is exactly why I cannot bring myself to app for some cards, that flowery font just kills me. It's awful. I think I read a romance novel when I was 13, I chalk it up to youthful stupidity. I'm sure if a card gave me 50% cash back, was bright pink and had that romance novel style lettering I COULD talk myself into it. Well, and then I could add my husband as an AU and purposefully ask him to buy stuff for me Smiley Wink
