Despite Chases statement it still seems in the long run they want to switch people over to the FU.
If they do, I'll close it since it becomes redundant. It's already sort of redundant. That would free up a slot in my sig line so I could jump on something else. ![]()

KDM is onto something.
If you go to Chase's credit card finding page: https://creditcards.chase.com/?CELL=6555
You see only FU, Slate, and CSP on the first page.
Now click on the "Get Started" button.
If you click "Earn cashback rewards", you are shown FU and AARP, and in "additional cards that might interest you", you're shown CSP and Amazon.
Click "start over".
Select "Earn flexible rewards". Now you're shown CSP and Amazon, and in "additional ...", you see the FU.
Go back, click "Save on interest", and you see Slate (expected), FU (really?) and in "additional ...", AARP.
As if there's no more Freedom (!!)

It does, if you specifically click "cash back credit cards" on the left side bar.
But use the "Quick and Simple Card Finder" on top of the credit cards page.
